Mental Health and Well-Being

At the Lantern Primary School we value the good mental health and well-being of our pupils, staff, parents/carers and stakeholders. We aim to use strategies that actively promote good mental health and have a range of systems in place to support this.

The School Mental Health Lead is Joanne Clarke.

The Lantern School are working closely with the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) to ensure children’s mental health needs are identified early with appropriate support put in place.

We also have staff trained in the Thrive Approach. Thrive offers a whole-school approach to supporting the right-time social and emotional development of all children and young people.
