Pre-School
The Lantern Goslings Pre-school provides young children with the chance to socialise with other children in their peer group. We learn through a stimulating, challenging and play rich environment and develop the skills needed to be ‘school ready’. Our highly experienced team create a fun, nurturing and safe atmosphere where each child is treated as an individual so that they can thrive and reach their full potential. Our key person practice enables our staff to build strong partnerships with our Parents/Carers, to provide compassion, support, guidance, and home learning opportunities.
We offer pre-school provision to children from three years old.
Our sessions run throughout the school day, five days a week during term time.
Morning sessions run from:
8.45am – 11.45am
Lunch club is available daily from:
11.45am – 12.25pm
Afternoon sessions run from:
12.25pm – 3.25pm
We will also have Early Years Breakfast and Early Years After School club for pre-school and Reception children run out of pre-school room.
All children attending our setting can access fifteen hours of Nursery Education Funding (NEF) per week from the term after their 3rd birthday (up to a maximum of 38 weeks per year)
Eligible families are able to access an additional 15 hours of ‘free childcare’ taking their funded hours to 30 per week (up to a maximum of 38 weeks per year)
The Lantern Goslings is able to offer great flexibility for the use of these funded hours within the pre-school day and where possible will always attempt to meet your needs. We offer a limited number of places within our two year old provision and extended hours for our 3 year olds at a competitive rate per session.
