Lunchtime

Our school meals are provided by Caterlink whose menus are available from the School Office or we send them out twice per year when email, when they are refreshed.

Meals can be booked using the booking system on MCAS. Meals need to be booked on or before Wednesday at midnight for the following week. Please contact the school office if you require any assistance in doing this.

Children in Reception-Y2 are welcome to have a Universal Infant Free School Meal. These also need to be booked via MCAS and are free to parents.

For the 2026-27 academic year the meal charge for children in Y3-Y6 is £2.80

During Breaktimes, there are various pieces of play equipment that are on offer to the children who are supervised by both Teachers and Teaching Assistants. A piece of free fruit is provided to children in Reception to Y2, thanks to Government funding. Children in all classes are welcome to bring in their own healthy snack.

At lunchtime, we have a Lunchtime Supervisor (Mrs O'Keefe) who manages a team who organise the dining hall and monitor the children outside. We call these 'Play Practitioners' and they are encouraged to run activities for, and with, the children.

Reception come into the Hall at 11:45 and their lunches are plated up for them, based on your pre-order. Y1 and Y2 come into the Hall for their lunches at 12noon. The rest of the classes then follow as space allows, and are called into the Hall from their playgrounds, which they go out onto from 12. Lunch, for all pupils, ends at 1pm.
