RE (Religious Education)
We recognise the important role that Religious Education plays in the personal development of our pupils. Whilst it has a particular contribution to their spiritual development, it also promotes the moral, social and cultural development of children.
In Religious Education, we aim to provoke challenging questions, encourage children to explore their own beliefs, enable children to build their sense of identity and belonging and teach children to develop respect for others.
Parents have the right to request that their child be removed from RE lessons. Please contact the school office to arrange a time to discuss this with the Class Teacher should you have any questions or concerns around your child participating in RE lessons.
